- Roszetta A. Stauffer, 81, of Main St., Dansville, died Friday (Jan. 10, 1986) in Noyes Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
A native of West Virginia, and a resident of Dansville for the past 35 years, Mrs. Stauffer had worked at the former Castle on the Hill resort here for 15 years prior to retirement. She was a member of the Revival Tabernacle Church.
Surviving are two sons, Robert of Cohocton and Ira of Dansville; two daughters, Roslyn Young and Barbara Downey of Dansville; a stepdaughter, Florence Hulburt of Dansville; three stepsons, Art and Earl Stauffer of Dansville and Clarence Stauffer of Ohio; a brother, Ira Ash of West Virginia; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A service was conducted Sunday afternoon in the Chamberlin Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Peterson officiating. Burial was in South Church Cemetery, Dansville.
