The deceased had been working in the Robinson, Ill. Oil fields, but came home a short time ago use he was not feeling well. His trouble was walking typhoid and he was up and around for several days after returning home. He was taken suddenly worse while calling on his grandmother and it was impossible to move him to the home of his parents. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Benson of Colegrove and was a young man who possessed those admirable qualities which made him a host of friends among a large circle of acquaintances. He is survived by is parents and several bros and sisters who will have the heartfelt sympathy of many friends in this their time of great bereavement. The funeral services are to be held at Colegrove at 1 o'clock today and his remains will be laid at rest in the Colegrove cemetery.
