Mrs. Chapman was brought to this city on Saturday evening by the Sheriff of Bucks, and has been since conveyed to Doylestown. When taken, she was [lodging] in the house of a Mr. Newton, at North East, in Erie county, Pennsylvania. The person who found her was Joel Bardwell, of Grove, Allegany county, New York, one of the agents employed by our High Constable Blayney. He traced her from Groton, through the western part of New York, to the place where she was discovered.—Phil. Sen.
