- ETHEL M. STEWART
Funeral services were held at Pulaski Saturday for Ethel M. Stewart, 81, lifelong resident of the Richland section, who died Wednesday, March 24, 1937, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bernice Lyons, Pulaski, where he had resided for about 15 years.
Mr. Stewart was born in Richland, June 15, 1856, son of Draper and Anna Marpole Stewart.
He married Melissa Damon in Orwell about 62 years ago. She died April 9, 1915. Mr. Stewart for many years worked as a carpenter for the New York Central railroad and also conducted a farm near Richland.
He is survived by one son, Fred B. Stewart of Pulaski; two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Price of Futon and Mrs. Bernice Lyons of Pulaski with whom he lived. Other survivors include three brothers, Draper Stewart, Richland; Lemuel Stewart of Syracuse and Edward Stewart of Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Dolly of Syracuse, and Mrs. Ward Stinson of Pulaski; three grandchildren, Robert Stewart, Richland; Mrs.Hazel Harrington, Pulaski. andErnest Lyons of Syracuse.
