Straight of School St., Springwater, died in his home Monday (Dec. 2, 1974). He was 79. Mr. Straight was a native and lifelong resident of this area and was a retired foreman for the Livingston County Highway Department. He closed out his career in 1960. He was a member of the Springwater United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Esma Lawrence Straight; two sons, Keith and Kermit, both of Springwater; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Kelly of Georgia; a sister, Mrs. Daisy Lahey of Lakeville; three granddaughters and a great-grandson. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home in Wayland this afternoon and this evening. A service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Springwater Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Springwater. Friends wishing may contribute in his memory to the Springwater Methodist Memorial Fund.
