He is survived by his wife Cornelia Beard; two sons, Chester L. Beard and Arthur A. Beard, both of Fort Myers; one daughter, Caroline Goodard of Buffalo, NY; three brothers, Hobert, Edgar and Homer Beard, all of Republic, MO; two sisters, Mamie Gaddy and Goldie Looney, both of Republic, MO; and two grandchildren, Randy Goodard and Tiffany Beard.
Private funeral service will be held Friday at the Kiser-Belcher Fort Myers Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley E. Ball, pastor of the Free Methodist Church, officiating.
