Tucker of 3 1/2 Third Ave., died today (Friday, March 22, 1974) in Olean General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born at Canandaigua Aug. 15, 1884, a daughter of George and Alice DeGroat Burns. Her husband, Franklin E. Tucker, died May 25, 1939. Surviving are a son, Arthur H. Tucker of Almond; two daughters, Mrs. Zoebelle Preston of Caledonia and Mrs. Frances Holmes, both of Franklinville; 23 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 14 great-greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tucker was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist of Wellsville and the Women's Relief Corp. of Franklinville. Friends may call at the Babbitt and Allen Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St., Franklinville, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Christian Science funeral and committal services will be held there Monday (March 25, 1974) at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Franklinville Ambulance Fund or the Blount Library of Franklinville.
