  Notes	Dan Hall Dies at Age of 96 DANIEL B. HALL, Dansville's oldest resident, passed away quietly in his sleep at 12:15 p. m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Effa H. Grover of 253 Main St. He was 96 years old, would have observed his 97th birthday Feb. 26, 1954, and had been a resident of Dansville for the past 44 years. Daniel Blank Hall was born Feb. 26, 1857 on Sandy Hill in the Town of Dansville, Steuben County. A lifelong farmer, he was still interested in dairying and agriculture at the time of his death. He moved to a farm on the Dansville-Hornell Road 74 years ago, following his marriage. The farm is now occupied by his son, Daniel R. Hall.
