Mary Milliman was the daughter of Fay Milliman and Mary Jacobs and was born in the town of Springwater Sept. 20, 1871. She was married to Christian Moose Oct. 26, 1889, and she went to housekeeping in the house in which she died and where all her married life was spent with the exception of two years which were spent at Blood's Corner where her husband was engaged in the hardware business. The funeral was held at the house on Sunday at 2 p. m., Rev. Waltz of Wayland, pastor of the Carney Hollow church officiating, and she was buried in Pleasant Valley cemetery beside her little son who preceded her nearly 25 years ago. She leaves besides her husband, four brothers and three sisters.
