- MONTROSE, Pa. — Frances Emma Baldwin, 80, formerly of Oneonta and Great Bend, Pa., died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, at the Meadow View Senior Living Center in Montrose, Pa.
She was born Oct. 16, 1921, in Livingston Manor, the daughter of Philip Browne and Cala (Copper) Browne.
She was married to Harold Baldwin who died several years ago. She was a Gold Star Mother and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary of Oneonta.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Colleen and Bruce Ehrhard of Treadwell and Gloria and Harold Abrams of Linwood, N.C.; three sons and their wives, Patrick and Susan Baldwin of LaMarque, Texas, Michael and Jane Baldwin of Oneonta, and Sidney and Jacqueline Baldwin of Kirkwood; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive her.
She was predeceased by a son, Gerald L. Baldwin, who died in Vietnam on July 7, 1968.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at noon at the Elm Park Methodist Church, 401 Chestnut St., Oneonta, N.Y.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.
Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Oneonta.
Funeral arrangements are by the Johnston Funeral Home of Morris, N.Y.
