Austin, 57, of Hammondsport, died at the Bath Hospital early Tuesday morning after only about a week's illness. Mr. Austin was born in Bradford, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Austin. He was three times married, the last marriage having been to Mrs. Kate Sisson of this town, who survives. He also leaves five children, three boys, Sherman of Watkins Glen, Homer of Wellsboro and Harold of New York; two daughters, Norma and Thelma; one brother, Harry Austin, Avoca, and a sister Mrs. Lewis Shaut of Kanona. He also had three stepsons, Kenneth, Henry, and Edward Sisson. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hewlett's undertaking room in Bath, the Rev. H. W. Wylie of the Presbyterian Church in Hammondsport officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Avoca.
