Hamsher, wife of James Hamsher, died at her home in Woodsville last week Wednesday evening of heart trouble and dropsy. Her maiden name was Harris, and she was born in St. Lawrence County 57 years ago. She had been ill for several months, during which time she was cared for by her husband, assisted by kind neighbors and friend. A few days before her death she was stricken with paralysis which probably hastened the end. The funeral was held on Friday, Rev. F. A. Kaehler of Buffalo officiating, and she was buried in the cemetery at Woodsville. Mr. Hamsher is very grateful to the neighbors and all others who assisted him during his
time of trouble.
