"Benjamin Talbot was a Private in the Connecticut line during the Revolutionary War. On November 8, 1781, he received a bounty of 30L from the town of Killingly for joining the Continental Army. He served in the 1st Connectict Line, Captain Erastus Wolcot's Company from 1 January 1781 to 31 December 1781. Colonel John Durkee"
