In 1874 he his wife came to Nebraska where he the remainder of his long and useful life his death having occurred at DeWitt county in 1909 at which time he was eighty eight years of age. His venerable widow who celebrated in the spring of 1917 the ninety fourth anniversary of her birth is one of the revered women of Gage county and is the gentle evening of her life in the of Wymore.
