  Notes	His mother married second to Thomas Edwards of Wethersfield, when Thomas was about eight years old. He is recorded in the Medical Journal of the younger John Winthrop. In 1657 he treated Thomas Loveland (spelled Lovenam), 16 years, described as "Thomas Edwards wives son." On 27 Apr 1714, Thomas Loveland, Sr., had 100 acres laid out of him, granted by the Town of Glastonbury. Thomas had seven children, by an unknown wife; Mary, Richard, Nathan, Deborah, Robert, Samuel, John, Elizabeth, and Hannah.
