  Notes	Clarence Chase. 77, passed away Oct. 8. at the Delaware Sanatorium after an illness of ten days. Mr. Chase was born October 5, 1872, in Meeker Hollow, Roxbury, the son of Harrison Chase and Laura Butler Chase. He spent most of his life in Meeker Hollow, and always followed the occupation of farming. He had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson at Roxbury for the past few years. He never married and his nearest surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. Alonzo Haight of Bloomville, now the last one remaining of a large family. He had a very cheerful disposition and was well liked by all. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two at the Gorsch Funeral home with interment at the Old School Baptist cemetery.
