      Wayland, March 19 - Daniel S. Lander, 65, died of a heart attack in the parking lot in this village after a shopping trip with his wife shortly after 3pm today. Mr. Lander lived at Cohocton RD 1. He was born in South Dansville. A farmer, he had lived in this area all his life. He leaves his wife, Anna Viering Lander; two brothers, James and Erwin, both of Dansville; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Gottschall and Mrs. Ella Haynes, both of Arkport, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Chamberlin Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville, where services will be held at 2pm Monday.
