The body was brought to the home of her son, William Morehouse, in East Avenue. Mrs. Morehouse was a daughter of Orlo and Jane Hopkins and was born in Scottsburg, July 7, 1844. Since her marriage to Fisher Morehouse about fifty years ago she had lived in Naples. Mr. Morehouse, who was a carriage‑maker and who invented one of the first automobiles seen in this vicinity, died several years ago. Mrs. Morehouse was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons, William Morehouse and Burton Morehouse, of Naples, and one sister, Mrs. John Short, of Livonia. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock on Saturday afternoon from the Presbyterian Church. Dr. Joseph H. France, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Rose Ridge Cemetery.
