  Notes	Bertha Walton Dies in Hospital Mrs. Bertha Walton, Apartment 3B, Henry Drive, Jermyn, died Monday in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Carbondale, after an illness. Born in Peckville, daughter of the late Charles A. and Bertha Hutchens Walker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Jermyn. Surviving are her husband Arthur; two sons, Arthur Jr., Clifford, and Howard, Jermyn; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Goodrich, Carbondale RD, and Nancy, Carbondale; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Earl, Elmira, N.Y., and John, Edwardsville; three sisters, Mrs. Shirley Romanini, Scranton; Mrs. Mary Rodney, Meadville, and Mrs. Lillian Conrad, Scranton, and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers, Harry, Scranton, and William, Kansas, preceded her in death. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington Ave., Jermyn, with Rev.
