Mrs. Hamsher was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hughes and was born in Sparta October 14, 1839. For 17 years she made her home in East Hill. For the past 16 years she has made her home with her daughter. She was a member of the German Lutheran Church. Mrs. Hamsher leaves two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Steffy of Dansville and Mrs. Lydia Caton of Sparta and one son, John Hamsher of Dansville, nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great grandchild and two half-brothers, John and Jacob Wagner of Reed's Corners. The body will rest Wednesday from 1 to 2 p. m. at St Paul's United Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m., Rev. Charles M. Karg, D. D., officiating. Burial will be made in the family plot in Kidd Cemetery, East Hill.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Hamsher were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from St Pauls United Lutheran Church and were largely attended, Rev. Charles M. Karg, D. D., officiating. Mrs. Marian Dolan presided at the organ. Mrs. Floyd M. Shepard beautifully sang "Beautful Isle of Somewhere" and "Abide With Me" Floral offerings were very beautiful. The bearers were Bert Caton Jr., Howard Robards, Ray Hamsher, Charles Perry, Ray Swarts and Frederick Holbrook. Burial in the Kidd East Hill.
