Mrs. Amos was born in Carney Hollow in 1831, and spent her entire life in that vicinity. She was loved and respected by all who knew, her. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Arthur Amos of this village, and Niles Amos of Carney Hollow, and her mother, Mrs. Mary Fronk who is 92 years of age and blind and a brother James Fronk. The funeral was held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. C.C. Mizener pastor of the Evangelical church officiated. Interment in the Dansville cemetery.
