Charles W. Douglas died at his home 84 Jersey Avenue, Saturday morning at four o'clock after a long illness. He was aged 72 years. Deceased was the son of George Lewis Douglas ad Lucinda McMichael Douglas. The surviving relatives are his wife, formerly Miss Mary Gately; three sons, George Lewis and T. Leroy Douglas of this city, and Charles Jr., of Waterbury, Conn.; one sister, Miss Amelia Douglas, of East Orange, NJ., and three grandchildren. The funeral will take place at the house Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Charles H. Kues will conduct the services.
