- Nicholas located in Lynn,MA from England as early as 1638. He was engaged in the iron works there and removed to Salem about 1660, there he is called a bricklayer. In 1646 he was given a license to "draw wine." He later returned to Lynn after residing in North Brookfield,MA as well as Salem. After the death of his first wife, Elizabeth, Nicholas married 2nd Alice Weeks, she died in 1658/9, and he married third Mary Gedney, having had children from all three wives.
