  Notes	Benjamin Franklin Wheeler Death of One of Ontario County's Best Known Residents Canandaigua, Oct. 2 - Benjamin Franklin Wheeler, one of Ontario county's most widely known residents, died at his home on the west shore of Canandaigua Lake, about seven miles south of this village, early this morning. Mr. Wheeler was born in East Bloomfield December 20, 1835, and passed his whole lifetime in the township except the three years and a half he served int he Civil War, and the past seventeen years which he spent in this town. He married September 25, 1866, to Miss Loraine Blake, of East Bloomfield, who survives. He also leaves three children, Simeon R. Wheeler, Benjamin F. Wheeler, and Idelle Wheeler Hall, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence with Rev. E.P. Wood. Universalist pastor at Victor, officiating. The interment will be made in the Pine Bank cemetery at Cheshire. (Democrat and Chronicle, Rochester, New York, Thursday, October 3, 1912, page 13)
