A Dover Plains resident for the past 45 years, she was instrumental in the establishment of the Armenia Day Nursery in Armenia. She attended the Dansville public schools and was a 1929 graduate of the Highland Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Poughkeepsie. Survivors include a son, John Fiske Robson of Dover Plains; a daughter, Jean Hamsher of Hurley; one sister, Gladys Zaffke of Dansville and 2 grandchildren.
