Notes - For many years she was a public health nurse in Livingston County, She was employed by the Dutchess County Dept. of Health in the towns of Armenia and Northeast from 1948 to 1964. From 1964 to 1969 she worked as a nurse in the Head Start Summer Program in Dover Plains. A Dover Plains resident for the past 45 years, she was instrumental in the establishment of the Armenia Day Nursery in Armenia. She attended the Dansville public schools and was a 1929 graduate of the Highland Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Poughkeepsie. Survivors include a son, John Fiske Robson of Dover Plains; a daughter, Jean Hamsher of Hurley; one sister, Gladys Zaffke of Dansville and 2 grandchildren.
