    • Cierna's real name was Aretha Cierna Matson, but she went by her middle name. She was the daughter of Ruth Cooper Matson and Norman Matson. She married Harry H. Miller in Cortland, NY. Harry was a widower with 3 children. Cierna and Harry had eleven children. Cierna was a dressmaker and Harry farmed. Cierna died from arteriosclerosis val des heart and the medical attendant was C.R. Bomen.
