  Notes	Emulis was a Wagon Maker. He was raised by his maternal grandparents in Poland, Chautauqua Co., NY. According to his obituary, he died at the Olean Mountain Clinic in Olean, NY. He moved to Olean at the age of 16. He lived at 121 Fulton Street his last 57 years. Emulis MORSE, eighty-one years old, succumbed to a short illness this morning at seven-thirty o'clock, at the Mountain Clinic. Mr. MORSE was born near Randolph, N.Y., September 16, 1852, and at the age of sixteen came to this city to make his home. For the last fifty-seven years he had resided at 121 Fulton Street. His wife, the late Mrs. Ella D. MORSE, passed away on February 4,[sic] this year. Mr. MORSE was a member of First Baptist Church of Olean for the last sixty years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carrie TIMBLIN, Mrs. P.N. CARLL, this city; four grandchildren, Chester E. CARLL, Mrs. Raphael MINDLER, Mrs. Walter G. KLINK, Mrs. Elmer REYNOLDS, all of Olean; and five great grandchildren. The body was removed to the home of his daughter, Mrs. CARLL, 123 Fulton Street. Funeral services will be held at the home at two o'clock, Thursday afternoon. The Rev. A. Frank Houser, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. (Times Herald, Olean, NY, 22 May 1934)
