- DANSVILLE/SAN DIEGO, CALF. - Mary Woychik Adams, 46, of County Rd.
#90, Dansville, died of an apparent heart attack Wednesday, April 18,
2001.
Marla was born in Dansville May 5, 1954, the daughter of the late
Robert and Janice Acomb Woychik. She married in Occuquan, Va. to
Eugene F. Adams II who survives.
Marla was a 15-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served
tours from 1972 until 1976 and from 1979 till 1988. After her
discharge from the Marines, she worked as an electronic technician for
the Sony Corp. in Rancho Bernardo, Calif.
Besides her husband, Marla is survived by two daughters, Janelle R.
Adams of Vista, Calif. and Abigail F. Adams of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; her
brothers Alexander (Peggy) Bowes of Pennsylvania, Douglas (Kathy)
Weidman of Falls Church, Va. and Eric (Debra) Woychik of Oakland,
Calif.; sisters Denice (William) Meyers of Dansville and Michele
(Kenneth) Maudlin of Napa, Calif.; mother-in-law Loretta Clinton of
Hayward, Calif.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by a sister, Dara Woychik.
Friends called Monday, 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. at the Chamberlin Funeral
Home, Inc., 73 Main St., Dansville, where a funeral service was held
at the completion of calling (8 p.m.) with the Rev. David Hotchkiss
officiating. Burial with military honors took place Tuesday morning at
l0 a.m. at Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. (GCE, April 26, 2001, p4)
